ODM leader Raila Odinga has kept up his criticism of Deputy President William Ruto over Jubilee’s unfulfilled promises.
In a tweet on saturday, Raila called the DP ‘“Mr Six months“ in a video caption of the Deputy President’s series of interviews promising accountability.
His tweet read:
“Mr Six months!
The youngsters you promised laptops 8 yrs ago are now old enough to see through your LIES.
The youth you promised 8 million jobs in 8 yrs can see through the WHEELBARROW lie you are now peddling.
It has been 8 yrs Mr 6 months and not 3yrs.
No Mr 6 months!”
This comes after the Deputy President told the Orange Democratic Movement to take responsibility for the government’s failure to meet its development agenda.
Speaking in Karen where he met county assembly members from Mandera, Ruto told ODM leader Raila Odinga that he cannot run away from the failures by the government in achieving the Big Four agenda.
The second-in-command said Raila’s party ODM was part and parcel of the government for the last three years, through the handshake.
“They pushed their way into the government through the handshake, they took over committees in parliament, they took over the running of government, three years down the line because they have failed miserably, they now want to run away from their own failure,” DP Ruto said.
